Hartford West Lincoln Avenue Street and Utility Reconstruction
Akin to other total reconstruction projects undertaken in the city of Hartford, the West Lincoln Avenue Street and Utility project involved the complete replacement of the street and its associated appurtenances—curb and gutter, sidewalk and storm sewer—as well as replacement of municipal sanitary sewer and water main.
Undertaken in 2003, the project included sanitary sewer replacement from South Main Street to Cedar Street, and extended the storm sewer between South Rural and Cedar streets. New curb and gutter and 4-inch bituminous pavement were installed and repairs were made as needed to existing sidewalks.
